We are engaged!!

I am Engaged to Ben Lang! Yeahhhhhh! I am so excited. I have met the man of my dreams and it has been worth the wait that is for sure. He is AMAZING. He is the most sincere, genuine, giving, fun-loving, hilarious, spiritual, and talented guy I have ever met who will dance with me, makes me laugh, shops with me, cooks for me and more importantly makes me the HAPPIEST girl ever I LOVE him! I was so SURPRISED when he asked me and I just keep playing it over and over in my head and want to re-live that moment over and over again. My boss at work told me on Tuesday the 14th I needed to leave work and go get "dolled up" and be ready at 4:00 for Ben to pick me up. The first thing that went through my mind, was this is it!? Could it be...I don't know...we haven't looked at rings, but he is all about surprises and if he is getting me out of work it must be something big. I immediately left and went and got all "dolled up" in a little black dress and curled the hair...I even shaved. haha.. Ben was right on time with a dozen red roses and was all dressed up and smelled so good!! He took me to the roof and even on the way there he said, we need to go to OC Tanner and look at rings soon so I thought, okay it's not happening tonight :(. The roof restaurant is so good and I had only been there one other time when Spencer left on his mission. We had a great dinner together and had their amazing dessert that is so delicious. The server came out and I thought she would be bringing the check but she had this cute white plate full of Chocolate covered strawberries that are one of my favorites (there is a big joke in my family with CCS that I try to eat them all in one bite) and she said we prepared a special dessert for you upon request and I said "Oh how cute...that is so thoughtful I love strawberries" and she lowered the plate down and a ring box was open in the middle and I started freaking out! He got on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said YESSSSS! He placed the ring and everyone aroud us was clapping it was so cute. So many couples came to give their congrats and they were there celebrating their anniversary as well. Ben made the ring! Yes he made the band, it is beautiful and told me that we could go pick whatever setting I would like to place it in! I thought that was so sweet and so thoughtful and he is one for BIG surprises! I was just shaking and said we need to get out of here I need to scream it to the world! We got in the elevator and I started dancing up and down and screaming and hugging him it felt so awesome! I am geting MARRRIED. We drove straight to my Mom's house and no one knew besides his parents and he had asked for my hand from my Dad but didn't tell him when it was happening. Jordan was at my Mom's and he answered the door and I just had my hand out and he was so happy and my Mom wasn't home from work yet so we set up a plan to surprise her and hid in the bedroom and waited for her to come home. We recorded it and when she came through the door Jordan played this song I love by Carrie Underwood "Momma's song" and when it go the chorus I came running out jumping and screamed I am in engaged and hugged her it was so fun. We immediately started crying together it was so great! I am so thrilled to start my life with Ben and it's true I have never felt this way before where we just get along so well together and have so many of the same goals and are so the same in so many areas. He completes my dreams and I can't wait to celebrate with all of you. We hadn't talked about any plans so we don't have a date yet but Ben is wanting it soon! Oh my! Girls...get ready to plan my wedding. Haha. We are thinking November 19th or December sometime and will let you know! Let the planning and Fun Begin! With love the soon to be Olivia Lang!

For Labor Day weekend Ben and I took off to Las Vegas! The weather was so nice and beautiful and great to get away for the weekend. Road trips are so much fun with him we have a blast together with whatever we are doing. We went to the Las Vegas Temple and it such a great experience and so beautiful. I had never been to that temlple. We relaxed and just spent time in the sun and tried some new fun restaurants and of course we shopped a bit too! hehe. They have some of my favorite restaurants there now too, Max Brenners and Serendipity! Just seeing the amazing hotels are entertainment in it self I feel and we had a great time together!

The Surprise Trip was San Clemente/San Diego! Ben was so excited and so shocked! I went and picked him up and had a "California" playlist playing in the car with a toy airplane and swimming goggles and a new swiming suit waiting for him on the seat. I blind folded him and took him to the car and took him to the airport. We stayed with my sweet friend Dorothy at her house in San Clemente and we went to Michael Buble Concert (more for me but Ben said it was the best concert he has ever been to) it was so romantic and so good. Michael Buble is so talented and he was hilarious, we were laughing the entire time. We went shopping, yes ladies, my man will shop with me it is the best ever! He loves TJMaxx just as much as me and we found an amazing TJ Maxx in San Diego. We also went to this amazing brunch in San Clemente (one of my most favorite spots in California) and laid by the beach. I took Ben to an Arts Festival that was in Laguna Niguel called SawDust and it was so awesome. It was up on this hillside in the woods and they had incredible stuff. They had people glass blowing right there so that was really fuhn to watch where Ben does that so he got a lot of great ideas. Then we watched the sunset and had dinner and took a walk on the beach. It was just a way relaxed, romantic, perfect weekend!

Ben and I went to Lion King this week. He had never been to a musical! We went to dinner down town at the Wild Grape Bistro. It was so yummy and great service. Lion King is my second favorite musical, Aida being my number one and I had not seen it since 2002 when my mom took our family to New York. The music is amazing and has even more songs than the movie and the costumes and humor and message is amazing. We had so much fun and I am so glad Ben will go do that stuff with me. He loved it! I think I have him hooked on concerts and musicals now. YES!

I had the annual niece's sleepover at my house before all the girls went back to school. The family is growing so much and we just added two more girls this year! I love it! Keep them coming! The girls have so much fun together with their cousins and I wish they could have stayed longer we had so much fun. We had a hula hoop contest, movie, played at the park, aunt Liv did hair and make-up, and went to lunch together. I made them little packets for back to school and my girlfriend Liz helped me make notebooks for them with their names on them and the LOVED them. They are the sweetest! We are up to 13 grandkids now with the oldest, Sailor, being 10! They all bring so much delight and we had a great girls night out!

BHS 10 Year Class Reunion

Where does the time go!? I just went to my 10 year class reunion last week and can't believe it has been 10 years since HIGH SCHOOL! I have been graduated from college for 6 years now and that seems sooooo weird. It is almost scary how fast time goes. I was really looking forward to it and Ben was a great sport and came with me, which I think he now regrets. I was all over the place seeing old friends but I was so glad he came with me. We had so much fun and I was so sad because I forgot my camera. Becky came with us too and we pulled up to the Bountiful Community Center and the sign outside said "Golden Years Center" Welcome Class of 2000. We were dying laughing, way to tell us that we are getting old. It was at the old Nursing Home Center behind the library and we got a kick out of that...they were ready to admit us already I guess. The committee did such a great job decorating and making it so special. The food was so yummy and they had a slide show of old pictures and current. We had a raffle and had great prizes and contest. Kim won for the most kids and Lindsey Fisher won for traveling the farthest from Michigan. I think Jenny and Brent Carroll won for being married the longest and marrying someone from our class. It was so great to see everyone. More of you peeps needed to show up! Shannon Hendrix and her husband were so fun and Lindsay Graff, Aubrey Hansen, Sarah Morgan, Emmy Watanabe, Melissa Pace, Sarah Sorenson, Hailey Mckay, Tyler Knoles, Cody Olson, Colby Larsen, John Murphy, Steve Plowman...can you tell I was busy being Social Butterfly. I was so EXCITED because I had no idea that Mindy Smith was coming from Denver and she was there and I was so glad I got to see her! Thanks for all those who made the reunion so much fun. I was sad I missed the park the next day. I heard there were so many others that I wanted to see there. We had such a great time though and I am still talking about it to people.

I started reflecting from the last 10 years and all that I have done and my goals and where I want to be. I have met so many amazing people and have so many wonderful friends within the last 1o years who have impacted my life so much. I have traveled around the world and have had so many great experiences that way. I graduated from Utah State, bought a home, had my heart broken (by just a few guys haha), and have worked many many jobs where I have learned so much and met so many successful people who have influenced my life for the better. My testimony has grown so much throughout the last 10 years as well of the gospel and has played a tremendous role in my life in the decisions that I have made and in my happiness. I'm so grateful for it and for the amazing life I have had. I still feel like I am 18 though....I guess that is a good thing. GO BRAVES!!!!

So you think you can dance was amazing this season. More than ever I wish I would have kept dancing after high school. Lauren from Arizona won. She is only 18 and was amazing and I was screaming so loud I probably woke up the neighbohood. I was so nervous for her. I have never been to the tour when they come here but Ben and I are definately going this year. He watched every episode with me and we even tried to do some of the moves. haha

Ben Sold His Custom Bike

Ben is a guy with many talents. He just amazes me with all that he does. He custom built this motorcycle and this picture doesn't even give it justice. The pipe work, the seat, the hanldbars, down to the speedometer is just incredible! He has so many talents that could be his full time job. I wish I had even an ounce of his creativity and his talent. Sadly he sold it last week and I think I cried more than he did. It only sits one person so I didn't even get to ride on it I would just sit on it. He built it from the ground up and designed all the piping on it. I think I much rather have had him sell the bullet bike but don't tell him that. :) At least I can ride on that one but maybe next time he will build a bicycle built for two!

Jackson Hole

For our family trip this year we went camping up at Jackson Hole. That was my second time going. I have not been there since 2001 and we haven't done a family trip for a couple of years so I was really looking forward to it. I invited Ben and it was the first time I have ever taken a boy on a family trip with me! We had so much fun all of us together. We went down the river and when I went before we had a guide but Spencer was our guide this time. He was just like the pros and we made it! No one fell out. I think I was laughing more than I was suppose to be rowing. We got trenched to say the least. Lunch Counter was much bigger than I remembered haha. We stayed in a little cabin which was so much fun that had a cute little swing and of course we enjoyed the great food and snacks, card games, and music by the fire. Jordan rode his motorcycle up that he paid $300 for five years ago a little Yamaha (We were surprised he made it and he beat us) Way to go Jord! The rest of went up in the car and had a great little road trip. Ben fit right in and had us all laughing the entire time. I love getting out in the country and just relaxing. The cabins were right on the river and it was so beautiful and we could hear the water at night. It felt like we were at the beach. It was beautiful and I wish we could have stayed even longer! I love my famiy and we have so much fun together.

We may go by Boat, we may go by Car or even Plane! Ben and I have a list of 101 Summer Adventures that we have been doing this summer and we have done pretty well crossing all of them off. I have planned a surprise trip for us to take in a week. I am so excited. He has no idea where we are going and the other night I made a poem of things to bring and when we are going. We are leaving the 26th for a short little weekend! It will be our first little trip together so wish us luck! I can't wait to have some away time from our busy schedules. We have a blast together. So I will keep you updated on where we end up! Shhhh it's a secret..place your guesses if you want!

So Ben called me and asked if I wanted to come over for dinner this last week. I got to his house and I started busting up laughing. He was in this chef jacket that he found online and had salmon, salad, rice, potatoes, and vegetables. It was amazing! How cute is that. I could come home to this every night. I had my own PERSONAL CHEF. He is such a sweet heart and didn't have me even lift a finger. It was so yummy. He is the best ever!

This Fourth of July was one of the best. It was non-stop fun and we had such a blast. We went boating to Echo lake with some friends on Thursday. Friday laid at the pool and relaxed, Saturday was Stadium of Fire and Carrie Underwood was amazing! My Mom went with us and we had a blast with her. Sunday we went camping through Monday and took Ben's brother's razor and went up to his property in Rose Canyon. It was beautiful and I had never been there before. It ended with a fun BBQ at his parents house with his family. The break was so nice and the weather was perfect. I love the 4th of July and celebrating the freedoms that we have. I'm so grateful for those before us who have paved the way before and dedicated their lives and all they had for me to enjoy the FREEDOM I have today. I love that I live in the USA. America the Beautiful is right! I have traveled to so many beautiful places in this country and hope to see even more. I feel so blessed to have all that I do and to live FREELY each and every day! California Pizza Kitchen just opened at Fashion Place!!! Wohooo! I think I am more excited about that then the Sephora opening up! It is my favorite. Try their Chocolate Soufle Cake...AMAZING. The Margarita Pizza and any of the salads are so good too. Can't wait..Then after you eat schedule with my Mom at the Sanctuary Day Spa right next door! I will be eating there weekly! That's not good for my tummy or my wallet because Nordstrom is right there too!

WALGREENS is Underrated!

Walgreens is totally under-rated in my opinion! I know they are practically on every corner in Salt Lake but I still love them and just discovered this within the last year. There is one right in my back yard and I love it. Here are some of the reasons why....

1. They carry my favorite sunblock and tanning oil that is not found in Utah anywhere else. AUSTRALIAN GOLD...usually I get it in Cancun, Hawaii...and when I am traveling and it is usually about $17. Walgreens has it for $8.50...yeah...can you believe it. I am totally stocked up and it smells so good!

2. Great Makeup selection!

3. Their film developing is so convenient (yes I still develop pictures) There is never a line to use the machines and is so easy to pick up and drop off!

4. They have the greatest candy and everything you can think of. Big lollipops, and all the things you loved as a kid!

5. Great prices and coupons gallore and you can double up on coupons where they will honor all of them on one item!

6. Fun kids toys

7. Great Card selection and wrapping paper and gift bags

8. Most of all great deals and great service (at least the one on 106th and redwood! Wendy, Alex, Mike, and Melody!) Yes I know all the workers by name!

St. George

Ben and I went to St. George over memorial day weekend and had such a great time. He was so cute and emailed me and told me we were going somewhere 300 miles away and he was taking me on a trip on the motorcycle and I had to PACK LIGHT! I had one side of the saddlebag and we were going to be gone for FOUR days! Girls pack light....that is impossible. I did it though (I had to buy some things when I got there to survive though haha) It was so beauitful there and he went golfing, I relaxed in the sun, we went to Mesquite one night, had a picnic on Sunday at the coolest park that had the funnest toys, I swear the playgroud was more for grown ups! Went shopping to my favorite stores, (yes ladies, he shops with me) and took some fun rides through the canyons. Four hours on the back of the motorcycle going down was not my definition of comfort. I was a good sport though but my back and butt hurt so bad once we got there....just more reason for Ben to give me a massage! On the way home he was so cute and bought me a pillow to sit on. We made it to fillmore and the bike died and the back tire wheel completely came off the belt and it was really scary. We were so blessed and Ben was able to get us to the side of the road and we towed the bike off the freeway and his dad came and picked us up in Fillmore and nine hours later we made it home from St. George. It was a long day but I am so grateful that we made it home and it might be awhile until I get on another bike. I have such a blast with him though and June 2nd we celebrated six months of kisses! It's been the best six months ever and I hope it continues!

Our Little Paradise!

I went to Las Vegas with the girls. We had such a blast. We stayed at Tahiti Village and it felt like we were in Tahiti....well almost. It was a trip of mainly RELAXATION! We spent 6-8 hours at the pool everyday, ate at some great restaurants...they have SERENDIPITY in Las Vegas! It's one of my favorites. Claim Jumper was really good too, I highly recommend it. Best Bread Pudding ever! Max Brenner's is coming too. It's one of my favorite restaurants in New York. It's coming to Cesears Palace and Becky and I cannot wait! I will be there opening day. We had such a blast! It was so great to finallyget in some great weather and soak up the sun!

My Sisters Rachel and Katlyn came to visit me in March. It was the first time they got to come visit and they stayed for a week. It was so much fun! We had a blast and it was so great to have a full week and make some memories together. They are the most beautiful, sweetest girls and I love them so much. Rachel just gradutated high school last week and I went to Phoenix to see her. She is going to NAU next year and was on the varsity basketball team this last year. Katie is starting her senior year this next year and is taking college classes this summer and will make you laugh so hard your stomach hurts. I had so much fun showing them around Utah and where I live. We went to Park City to the outlets, horseback riding, to a muciscal, got our pictures taken together, went to fun restaurants, went to rexburg to one of Jordan's shows and had girl talk every night! I love them and miss them!

Jordan is in the process of recording his second album and I went and watched a few weeks ago. It was so fun to see a professional studio and all the work that goes into it. One song takes so long to get just right and record on the instruments. He is so talented and so glad he can pursue his dream with music. This Next Album is going to be a hit!

For those you that don't know I am a big "Movie Buff." I don't ever really watch T.V.. Occasionally I will watch Dancing with the Stars or So you think you can dance and I have never had cable until I moved into my house two years ago and that is just because it is included with the HOA Fees. But talk about movies and I am there. I love just sitting down and curling up to a good movie. I love crying my eyes out to a great movie, Notebook, Titanic, Pay it Forward, Message in a Bottle, Finding Neverland, Cinderella Man, Gladiator, and Braveheart...those are some that get me everytime. I love laughing to movies...Some of my favorites are; Happy Gilmore, Dumb and Dumber, Rush Hour, and Tommy Boy. Some that I just love cuddling up to are Count of Monte Cristo, Serendipity, Sweet Home Alabama, Spanglish, and Dan in Real Life.

My Mom started doing Oscar Parties for me and my friends when I was in highschool and we would vote on the ballots on who would win and I remember my friend Hayley got first prize and she was so excited and it tickled my mom that we all loved it so much. We just started the tradition and kept it going year after year and I would even come home from college to attend the party and bring some friends along. We dress up every year and you can dress up as a favorite actress or actor or just come in your formal and have great treats and company and vote on who you want to win. Ever since I came home from college I have started my own and have done them with friends and have had such a blast doing it. It's a chance to wear all my old prom dresses, at least the ones I can still fit in! This year was really fun and a great turn out. I was really excited about the movies this year too and it was a tough competition. I loved Blind Side, Up, Princess and the Frog, and Avatar were all of my favorites this last year and screamed whenever they won! It amazes me the talent and the work that goes into movies and how more and more get released and its a night to feel like a star!!! Thanks Mom for such a fun tradition!

Last month I went on the greatest cruise ever with all my girlfriends. There were about 300 singles and we met so many great new people and had a blast. We went to Grand Caymen, Belize, Isla Roatan, and Cozumel! We fly into Miami which I had never been there before and spent the weekend there and time at the beach! It was so hard to come back to reality and to COLD! I think now every year I will go somewhere warm during winter. It was the best ever. What a great way to be with friends...just cruisin! White heat was the club on the ship and of course I was there workin' the dancefloor. Great entertainment every night, amazing dinners, and my favorite dressing up every night! I had never been to any of the stops and it was beautiful. I think my favorite was Grand Caymen and Isla Roatan. The beaches were beautiful. Cozumel I rented a waverunner and went out on the ocean and relaxed in hammacks, Belize, we went cave tubing, Roatan, snorkled and held monkeys, Grand Caymen just relaxed at the beach and swam.

Happy New Year! Happy 2010! What a great year to look forward to! I went up to a cabin with a bunch of my friends this year up by Solitude and had a great time. We played games and had a dance party, made a midnight breakfast, and played out in the snow. We have such a fun group and had a great time together ringing in the new year. As I look back on the past ten years of the decade I have so much to be grateful for and to reflect on. It's amazing how fast time goes to me and that every year just seems to go faster and faster. In the past ten years I graduated from Bounitful High School, Graduated from Utah State University, Bought a home, have traveled to some amazing new places including, Australia, St. John Virgin Islands, Cancun, Chicago, New York, Canada, Seattle, Boston, San Diego and much much more. I have been able to waterski in new places including Lake Blaine, Inner Costal in Florida, St. Charles River in Chicago, and Lake Benson. Most of all I have grown so much in the last ten years, in my testimony and who I am today and have built some amazing relationships where I find the most joy in my life. What an amazing ten years. So many great memories and new friends, and new experiences. There are so many great things to look forward to as well. I am starting off the year right going on a cruise in a week with all my girlfriends, about 16 of us to Honduras, Belize, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel! I am also planing on receiving my endowment in Febuary which I am really looking forward to and finding new ways to serve my Savior for all that I have I owe to him and am so grateful for the life in which he gave so that I might live and experience the love and joy I do in my life. Who knows this might be the year to look forward to a special someone sweeping me off my feet too! Just putting it out there! Haha This life is amazing and I am so grateful for all that I have and what I have been given and to reflect on how I can become better this year and what new things I want to learn. 2009 was a good year but also hard in a lot of ways too. I lost my Grandpa Frandsen, Jordan my brother had an intense back surgery, my Mom moved away to San Diego, Spencer went through a very unexpected divorce, my Dad's girlfriend took her own life, Becky my roommate broke her leg and was down for two months..there was just a lot. I could complain but I don't and try to look at the great things that happened and the wonderful memories and am grateful for new beginnings to take what we have learned through those experiences and continue to move forward into a new year and make this one the best we can. 2010 is my year, I'm claiming it to be the best year yet!

My mom and I had the craziest experience at the movie theater the other night. She had a really bad day and her car got towed and it messed up her massage appoinment trying to get it back and it was just a really ugly day for her so we decided to get in our pajamas and take a blanket and cuddle up at a movie together. We had wanted to go to Nine and went to Jordan Commons and brought our favorite Valentine treats that are out now. Chocolate covered cinnamon bears and cinnamon hearts and we were ready to just relax for the night and see this new movie and hear. That's what you would hope for at a movie these days right......?? There were about ten people in the thearter and we were right in the middle and there were about six sitting below us and then two women sitting up at the top. About a third way through the movie we kept hearing the women up above us talking out loud, ReALLY LOUD. We kept looking back like, are they serious...do they think they are the only ones in the theater? It sounded like they were on the phone just talking away and then just talking to each other and we tried to ignore it for awhile. We were going to try to move away so that we couldn't hear them but they just kept going and going so about half way through the movie my Mom went out and just asked a manager to ask them to please be quiet because it was really distracting. He came in and just asked them quietly to please be quiet and keep it down. He left and we though.....ahhhh it will finally get better. Oh no, it actually got worse! They started yelling and saying, real cool people real cool, how old are we. They yelled out "Hey Douche bag, really, really people." I really felt like I was in a dream because no one else in the theater were turning around or saying anything and I thought, are they not bugged by this, and is this really happening? They started cackling like witches and laughing while the movie is still going and you ask, Why didn't I just walk out. I'm not sure why? We really just wanted to see the movie and didn't know when we would be able to again so we sat through it. Dumb on our part I know but at this point it was almost over so it finished and by this point my heart was racing that I either wanted to turn around and yell at these ladies, but also scared for my life a little bit that we were going to get attacked or something. We got up and the lights were still off and my mom and I started walking out and the ladies yelled. Hey F'ing Fags get over here. We walked out to customer service and the manager asked if it got any better and we said no it got much worse and he offered to give us our money back. Right then, behind us we heard, that's them and they came up to us. The one was really over weight with a muffin top (she was trying to fit in pants that were way too small her for, hence the muffin top) and she was probably six feet and had glasses on a one black eye (so right then we knew she was a fighter) She got in my Mom's face and said "You are rediculous" at this point I am standing there and my mom said my face went as white as a ghost. I froze and thought, is this lady going to punch my Mom and is there going to be a fight right here. What is this world coming to. We can't even go to a movie and be safe and enjoy a quiet evening anymore? She smelled so bad of alcohol you felt like some of it even was left on me...it was soooo bad. We asked security to escort us out to our car and as we were walking out we saw them walking to their car and security got on the phone with the cops and one guy went to find out if they were really going to drive off in the state that they were in....which scared me more than anything. We safely made it to our car, thank goodness! I told my mom, what is wrong with this day, she had a horrible day and this did not make it any better, it just topped it off to be the worst day of the year so far for her! CRAZY. My sweet friend Emily just wrote on her blog recently about a completely opposite experience where she talks about Pay it Forward ( one of my favorite movies). That she forgot her wallet and the guy behind her bought her drink for her at the movies. I'm so glad to hear that things like that this really do happen and that our society is not becoming as negative as this experience that we had. I'm just so glad we are safe and it's sad that some people are so unhappy that they have black eyes from previous fighting, and come drunk to the movies because they are so unhappy and have to lash out on others to make us a feel a little glimpse of their misery. It was still a great time with my Momma and we giggle now that she said I would have been no help as I was as white as a ghost and that she would be left on her own to fight her. I would have whipped out my karate kick Momma so don't worry! Haha

Thanksgiving and Jordan's Birthday

This year for Thanksgiving my family and I went up to Snowbird to The Aerie at the Cliff Lodge and enjoyed their wonderful buffet Thanksgiving Dinner. It was Jordan's "Golden Birthday" he turned 26 on the 26th and chose there to have dinner. It was so good and so beautiful to see the skiers out on the mountain and the watch the sun go down from the 10th floor. It was wonderful to have my parents together too and not have to try to share time this year and enjoy their company. I'm so grateful for so many things this year and its a wonderful time to reflect on those things that I have been blessed with:

1. Family: I'm so grateful for family and for their example, support, unwavering love, understanding, and playfulness they bring to my life. My brothers are my best friends and its so wonderful to know they would be there for anything and that I can share anything with them, and laugh, sing, and share our secrets together. They have been the ones that throughout my life and trials I have gone through, each one has been by my side like the picture above. They are amazing men and so loving and sweet to their sister. They are great examples of steadfastness, endurance and give me so much encouragement in my life and my dreams. They are pure gentlemen who are full of passion and grace. Most of all they are bundles of laughs and have the best sense of humor and have the best one liners you will ever hear! I seriously should write a book with all of them. They are my rock and motivate me to be better and are my lifesavors!

2.Employment: So many have lost their jobs this past year and I am so grateful for my job and love what I do. I work for a wonderful doctor who is not only my boss but my friend and we are constantly laughing at work and have made some great friendships at work. I'm so grateful to have a job that supports me to do all the wonderful things I enjoy doing and provides me with a beautiful, warm home.

3.Health: I'm so grateful to be healthy, to thrive in life and to live to its fullest and to be able to serve others and be there for others in need. I think I take that for granted be pain free and at times just being able to run, jump, dance, smell, WATERSKI, travel, surf, do steamroller, and biking and hiking and to experience God's creations. I feel like I have been so protected at times where a major catastrophe could have occurred and I'm so grateful that so far so good! Knock on wood.... (on my table I am sitting at)

4. Friends (A girl can't make it through this life with out her girlfriends) I mention my friends in my prayers everyday and specifically for their strength, their testimonies, and their encouragement they have in my life. They are my guardian angels where I see through them who I want to be. Some have become wives and mothers and are the best Mom's I have ever known. They amaze me with how much they juggle in their life and have it all together and amongst their busy lives I get notes in the mail, phone calls, and emails checking in on me seeing how I am doing and how life is and a new guy they want to line me up with! Haha They are always looking out for me and are so interested in what I am doing and it means more then they will ever know. My roommates! Wow, I couldn't be lucklier to have such amazing friends. They have shown me to stand for truth, for righteousness, and what really matters in life. I can get distracted easily or get going in my day of my list of things to do and they remind me to stop and smell the flowers and remember why we are here and what my purpose is and what really counts. I think that is a lifelong challenge for me to put off the Natural Man and they have shown me charity, love, and what it truly means to Stand as HIS Witness in this time we live in even when its uncomfortable.

My First Christmas Tree!

My First Christmas Tree! What do you think? There is something about Christmas Trees and Camp Fires where I can just stare at them for hours. It makes our front room so cozzy! Shae and Becky and I decorated it this last week and we were pretty impressed with ourselves and we used odds and ends of Christmas ornaments people had given us and it turned out great. I'm ready for the holiday and just finished wrapping this weekend and now am just counting down the days till Christmas. This morning I went to the Music and the Spoken Word that the Tabernacle Choir put on and saw a mini version of the Christmas Concert they did this week. It was beautiful. Natalie Cole was so good. I took the girls I visit teach and after we made German Pancakes. It just got me that more excited for this time of year and all the new snow we are getting is just a bonus. I'm grateful for this time of year to reflect on those things that we are grateful for and the Spirit of Christmas and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have so many great Christmas Traditions too that I am looking forward to. We Snowski on Christmas Eve and watch our favorite movie, Miracle on 34th Street, Read the Christmas Story and all sleep in the same room and wait for Santa and play games. Yes, I am still a kid at heart and love my Christmas Pajamas and I still BELIEVE!

My Michael Jackson Theme Birthday Party

28 is GREAT! I had the best birthday this week and it is still going hopefully for the whole month! Monday my work celebrated with me and got me my favorite fruit tart from Market Street Grill and then that night my Dad and Jordan took me to dinner and got the sweetest cards from them and Tuesday I took the day off and it started with pampering myself with a facial from my dear friend Heidi who is amazing. She spent two hours with me and had these amazing cupcakes for me. I then went to the next salon and got my hair done by Becky at Visions Salon. In the afternoon I went and shopped at some fun boutiques and then Becky and my friends did a Black or White Michael Jackson Birthday Party for me. It was so much fun. We had amazing food upstairs and downstairs, had music videos of Michael Jackson playing and dancing downstairs. I got so many texts and calls throughout the day that I loved and a fun birthday package from my Mom from California. It was different not to have her here but am happy for her to be living in California. My friends sure made me feel spoiled and helped me feel better about getting a year older! You guys are all the best!

I got a new Waterski!

I finally did it! I got a new waterski. The very first time I learned to ski was in 7th grade and for awhile now I have wanted to get my own ski that fits me just right! I went out and tried it out for the first time last week and now I think I have to wait till next summer....that is so far away! It was so awesome and I skiied so much better....that's what I tell myself to justify my purchase...I am a girl...what do you expect and of course it had to be cute and stylin! It was so much fun though and a great way to end the summer season!!

I finally made it to SAN DIEGO for my first time. I have wanted to go for years and it took my mom moving there to get me there!! I have never lived out of state from my Momma and it is really different not just have her down the street. I miss her so much but now that I have been there I can see why she has wanted to get to the beach and to beautiful California! We had such a great time together and got to see so much. I didn't want to come back. Jordan and I drove down for a long weekend and we went to the KINGS of LEON concert, Sea World (a childhood dream of mine to get there) SHAMU ROCKS! The temple was amazing and Jordan played a show at Oceanside right on the docks and it was such a blast. He did such a great job and even had my mom and I come up and sing a song with him. Don't even get me started on the shopping, we didn't do a whole lot and I was really good but I just want to take a weekend to walk through all the fun boutiques and shops there, they were so cute. Just wanted to share some pictures of the great weekend in Southern California!

There is nothing better than a hot summer day out at the lake! Last year I learned how to Wake Surf and it is such a blast. I have never surfed in the ocean but now can behind the boat! It is so great to not be in any bindings and just out on the board and you sit right up close to the boat. It's such a blast. My all time favorite is water skiing though, just me and my HO and some glass water. There is no water though better than the lakes in Logan, that is one thing that I miss. Cutler and Benson you are guaranteed glass water all day long...you just have to get over that the water is more of a yellowish brown than blue and you may be able to touch the bottom of the lake other than that you are golden! It's well worth it when it's your passion! Ski it up!

This Summer has been so much fun. To make me feel like I am at the beach sometimes I bought a beach cruiser last year (the red one) and run my errands on it. Just behind my house is harmons, and the bank, THE PIE (trouble), Cafe Rio and a bunch of fun stores so I can just ride my bike and run some errands with my little basket. My mom says I just need Toto and I would be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I just bought the "Urban Lady" this year and Becky joined me on a bike ride. I haven't put the wicker basket on that one yet I just got it last weekend but it was so fun to have a buddy! The bells are the best on them we had a fun night tonight riding around town over to the park!

Cancun Baby!

The past week I was in Cancun with my sisters, Katlyn and Rachel. What an amazing trip. It mainly consisted of, the beach, the pool, then the beach, then the pool! It was so HOT and HUMID you constantly had to be in the water. We stayed at the Omni hotel and we did the all inclusive, which I had never done before where all your meals are included, it was sooo good. They had entertainment three of the nights we were there too outside by the pool. It felt like a "land cruise." We had such a fun time together and is hard to come back to "real life" again. One of my favorite parts was we found this rock that the waves would crash up on it and soak us and we would sit with our backs towards it so we had no idea when it was going to hit. We were like little girls again, squealing and laughing and spent nearly the whole day on it.....easily entertained I guess.

I cut my hair! There have been so many times where I go in and want to do something different with my hair and I finally did it! It was so scary! Why do we get scared though, it will grow right back and a lot of people haven't even really noticed. It's so short to me though! How do you like it? I haven't had my hair short like this since Junior High! It's a good change and has been really fun to have something different. It was so weird washing it at first, when it just stops at the shoulders. Thanks Becky for the great new Sassy Look! :)

I went to Arizona this last weekend to surprise my sister, Katlyn, for her BIG Sweet 16 Birthday Party. She was so surprised, it was the best!! I ran into her room and she had no idea I was coming. We had a pool party in her back yard with friends and family and drove around all over Glendale going to the movies and shopping!

I'm an aunt again!!! Meet MAXON BOOTH!! He is 10 weeks old and is the cutest thing. Proud Parents are Spencer and Kylie Booth! Over excited Grandma is Deb Palmer!! We are just loving him and he is so fun to cuddle with and he is growing so fast. I don't know if you all remember my last dog, MASE! I thought no other dog will ever be able to replace him but I think it just might after this cute little thing. He sleeps constantly, I think they are putting something in his food! Jordan and I tried to get him to sit up for a pictures and he would just flop over and keep sleeping! So we take lots of naps with him!

So I went back into time yesterday....remember those days of the Hokey Pokey, or Snow Ball. When was the last time you skated on all 8 wheels, not roller-blades but skates!! Yeah baby, some friends and I went last night to Classic Skating and skated our faces off!!! I didn't fall once, I was so proud of myself. It was so weird to have the brakes in the front. It was such a blast!! I highly recommend it!

Well I am just Livin' it up this week in St. John, Virgin Islands! I just had the trip of a life time. My cousin Michelle manages the nicest Villa on St. John and my mom and I got to go for a week and have the whole "PALACE" to ourselves. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been!! We snorkled and saw so many colorful fish and turtles and went on some beautiful hikes. The water was the prettiest turquoise and the sand was so soft and white. It was so nice to just relax with no phones, no alarm clocks, just read, sleep and lay out!!! I felt like a CARIBBEAN QUEEN and didn't want to come home! It was so nice to have time with my mom we haven't done a girls trip with just eachother since I was Sweet 16 when we went to New York. It was a girls night out at Livvy's over Easter Break and I had some of the nieces over for a sleepover at my house! We had so much together! We played games, watched movies, had ice cream, stayed up late (the girls stayed up later than me playing on their DS's and my I-phone). We all slept on the couch and it was a fight on who got to sleep by Aunt LIV! I told them we would rotate through the night but that didn't really happen. We went to the park and out to lunch on Saturday and I did their hair and we went and got their nails and toes done at a salon so that their nails would look pretty with their Sunday Easter Dresses. We had so much fun though.

This last weekend I went to Arizona to see my Grandma Booth and my two sisters Katlyn and Rachel who live in Glendale. They are 15 and 17 and driving! It's so crazy! We also went down for Michael Anderson's wedding, Jordan's best friend from high school. Jordan was a part of the wedding and played their song for their first dance, Forever, by Ben Harper. He did an amazing job. We had so much fun and the weather was amazing, especially when we came back to snow this whole week! I try to go down and see my sisters about every four months and we have a blast shopping, talking about boys, swimming, visiting with Grandma, and eating at yummy restaurants!

She graduated from BYU last year and they are now living in Logan as Spencer finishes his Bachelors at Utah State. Go AGGIES. My Grandma Frandsen passed away this last month and I will miss him so much. It has been so great to be out in South Jordan and be closer to all of my family on the Palmer side. South Jordan is where both of my parents grew up and many of my mom's siblings still live in the area. My Grandma and Grandpa just live up the street from me so I have had so many great visits with them this past year and so many great memories through out the years. My grandpa loved music and played the harmonica at every chance he could. When I was little and would stay at my grandparents he would play "Mary had a little lamb" to me before I went to bed. He loves art and painted and I am so fortunate to have a picture that he painted, his favorite was landscapes. He loved the American Flag and our country and the freedoms that we enjoyed. He served in World War II in the Navy and I admire him so much for his bravery in allowing me to have the freedom I have today. I will miss his laugh, his warm hands, his kisses, and his words of encouragement. I love you Grandpa.

Well many of you probably don't even bother to look at my blog since the last post was 2007! I honestly forgot my password and how to long in (don't laugh) after being on the computer at work all day I just don't get on the internet much after that! But I am here and want to catch everyone up on all that has been going on and have had fun today looking at everyone's and seeing your beautiful families!

I am living in South Jordan and bought a town home one year ago this month! I can't believe it has already been a year! I love it! I have two roommates, Shaelyn Anderson and Becky Mitchell and we have so much fun together. Becky's birthday was just last week and we did a surprise birthday party for her. She loves the Beatles so much so we did a theme party for her! Becky and I both went to Bountiful High together and ran into each other while we were both living in Sugarhouse and moved out to South Jordan with me and Shaelyn is from South Jordan and I met her in my ward. We have a blast together!!

I just go back from Seattle seeing Jordan. It is one of my favorite places now! The city is beautiful and I love going to see my buddy!! We went to a Seahawks vs. 49ers game. It was our first NFL game and we got second row tickets! It was such a blast. Fall is my favorite season because I love the football season and the leaves changing. We were with all the season ticket holders and fans and we had so much fun with them and got all decked out in our seahawks attire too so we were right there with them cheering like crazy and it was a seahawk victory!

I have a blog!! Many of my friends keep asking why I don't have a blog that I finally decided to make one! Thanks to Jocee who helped me set it up and gave me instructions on how to do it! Here is a picture of the fam! I am living in Sugarhouse with friends livin' it up! Jordan is in Seattle and Spencer and Mom are in Sandy. Spencer and I work at MonaVie and I love that I get to see him everyday. This summer we went to Canada together for our family trip up to Whistler. We have so much fun together.

I took my mom to Keith Urban in September for her birthday and don't worry it was my third time seeing him in concert. It was his best yet! We were able to get so close that he was singing right to us. I love going to concerts and have been to so many and his are my favorite by far, he is such a great entertainer and we had such a blast!

October is my favorite month, it's my birthday, conference, and halloween all in one month! For my birthday a bunch of friends went up to Snowbird to Octoberfest and got a room at the Cliff Lodge. It was such a blast! We had dinner when we got up there, stayed over night and had breakfast in bed, watched conference and then went to Octoberfest. It was snowing up there and was freezing but was so beautiful. I was the birthday princess for nearly the whole month and was spoiled by friends and family!

I'm a blonde. Halloween is my second favorite holiday. This year was so fun and I was a flapper girl! Can you tell it's me?? I went to parties all weekend and then put on a Halloween Party at work where we had a costume contest and had kids come trick or treat, and that night went to more parties. People didn't even recognize me though, including my mom!
